Scottish Government Tender Win For Fife Business Horisk Leslie Development

Horisk Leslie Development has successfully been awarded a place on the National Framework for the Provision of Application Design and Development Services for the Scottish Government.

Thanks to the support of Thornton & Lowe’s in-house team of bid writing professionals, this 2-year contract, with the option to be extended for a further 2 years, will see Horisk provide Application Design and Development Services to meet the current and future needs of the Scottish public sector.

Ian Macleod Distillers Acquiries Edinburgh Gin

Ian Macleod Distillers has taken ownership of the well-established and fast-growing Spencerfield Spirit Company, including its flagship brand, Edinburgh Gin.

This follows a long-standing arrangement with Ian Macleod as the exclusive distributors of Edinburgh Gin and Spencerfield Spirit’s whisky range of Pig’s Nose, Sheep Dip and The Feathery in the UK. Ian Macleod will now take full ownership of the Spencerfield Spirit portfolio with all brands being transferred with immediate effect.

Babcock secures fabrication contract for Offshore Transformer Modules for Siemens

Babcock, from its facility in Rosyth, has been awarded a contract to construct two Offshore Transformer Modules (OTM™) destined for the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited (BOWL) project in the Outer Moray Firth.

Working with our client, Siemens – Transmission and Distribution, Babcock will develop and deliver the Offshore Transformer Modules during the first half of 2018.
